Hey, Raj.

Yes, it’s been a fast year. Looking back over the blog I haven’t posted about anything as frequently. Maybe if I posted more often I wouldn’t appear to be so obsessed. This time last year I was still at Enfold. What’s it like up there now? I miss the conversations and awesome lunches.

I’m as well as I ever was, for whatever that’s worth.

What a beautiful way your Grandpa left this earth; He was surrounded by his family and had Scripture read. A high school friend went through the same situation about 3 weeks ago. She said that after they all took turns saying their good-byes, they tried to hold his arms and he wouldn’t let them and reached as high as he could towards heaven and took his last breath.

For sure there is comfort in knowing that your grandpa knew God and put his faith and trust in Him. As he faithfully passed the baton, we should do the same. The easy thing for us is that both of our wives are believers, but I guess at times that makes me a little lazy.

yep. that’s the board. really kind of torn between discrete pedals and a multi, but the initial expensive of discrete seems kind of outrageous compared to even an expensive “flagship” multi like the GT10B. I wonder if all the built-in presets are all using amp sims though, that would be kind of annoying. Guess I’d just start by blanking the user presets and making them clean and simple.
alternately curious what the amp sims would sound like running through a second amp… probably / possibly “good” but not “authentic”. as if i’d know the difference.
